We are experiencing the flu in our community. If you have the following symptoms, you can assume that you also have the flu:
• Sore throat
• Runny or stuffy nose
• Body aches
The treatment for the flu includes tylenol and ibuprofen, rest and plenty of clear fluids.
There is no need to be tested for the flu at this time.
Please stay at home until you have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours. Do not have visitors in your home.
If you develop the following symptoms, or are feeling the need for medical treatment, see your medical provider:
• Difficulty breathing
• Pain or pressure in the chest
• Severe or persistent vomiting
• Symptoms improve, but return with a fever and worse cough
